Projects

Edinburgh Settlement Projects is a local social enterprise initiative, founded by the International Federation of Settlements and Neighbourhood Centres – Europe (IFS – Europe. Charity Reg: SC033309).

We aim to maintain and develop the long standing tradition of community support associated with one of Scotland’s oldest voluntary organisations; originally founded as the Edinburgh University Settlement in 1905.

Fisheye Settlement

Edinburgh Settlement Projects’ community shop, located at 34a Haddington Place, Leith Walk, Edinburgh, was opened in 2011 to promote and facilitate local community recycling and re-use, and to provide a local hub for the development of community projects. We sell donated goods to raise funds to support community development initiatives both locally and internationally.
